Cylindrical chamber with conical base – made of mild steel or transparent acrylic to observe the process. 2. Tangential air inlet – provided at the side of the cylinder, through which dust-laden air is introduced at high velocity. 3. Vortex finder (outlet pipe) – fitted at the top center for exit of cleaned air. 4. Dust outlet – provided at the bottom of the cone to collect separated solid particles. 5.
